Enjoy!
Coco Nail Bar has been recommended by Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue and Tatler, just to mention a few. We visited the much talked about nail spa situated in the heart of London’s trendy Portobello Road to find out what all the fuss is about.
The first thing you notice as you enter Coco Nail Bar is that this is no ordinary nail salon, this is as close as you can get to a spa experience. You are greeted into their modern and spacious treatment room by the delicate scent of candles and friendly staff who welcome you with your drink of choice. You can choose between fresh coffee, champagne, wine and cocktails specially prepared for you at their exclusive drinks bar.
We opted for the signature manicure and pedicure . The nail technician sent us off to choose nail polish from a specially designed nail station. The options are endless, with every thinkable shade from Essie and OPI. Next we sank into one of the super comfy massage chairs and two nail technicians start working on our hands and feet while we watched our favourite TV shows on of their tablets. We were very impressed by the cleanliness in the nail bar, as well as the nail technicians precision and attention to detail.
What makes the signature manicure and pedicure special is the use of soothing paraffin therapy with heated mitts. We noticed how it left our hands and feet truly pampered and softer than ever before. Coco Nail Bar also offers a Fish Spa of tiny Garra Rufa fish that gently nibble the feet, helping to remove dead skin. After treatments clients are taken to a super drying station, or should the weather permit, they may sit outside in Coco’s garden amongst delightful orange trees.
Coco Nail bar is perfect for the busy Londoner’s life style with late opening hours and express services. It’s not the cheapest option but definitely one of the best we’ve tried in London.
